This more detailed website showing local crimes was launched nationally on 31st January 2011. For Ashby these include ASB (Anti Social Behavior), Burglary, Robbery, Violent, Vehicle and Other Crime. At a Parish Council meeting in January 2011 the local PCSO reiterated Ashby was rated as a very safe area as the local crime rate was virtually non existent.

Ashby St Mary Parish Council supports Loddon On Call so it is pleased to assist by including this message.
Are you over 18yrs old, hold a driving licence and have a few hours to spare during the week? Then why not join Loddon On Call?
Loddon On Call needs your help to maintain the service it provides to Loddon and the surrounding parishes. We receive emergency 999 calls to provide immediate medical assistance prior to the emergency services arrival. The scheme aims to provide 24/7 cover but in order to achieve this we need your help. Can you give a few hours between Monday and Friday, it could be one block or spread over a few days? The choice is yours, we will provide full training, equipment and safety clothing - all we ask you to give is your time. The Library Annex at the Loddon Parish Council office is the nearest collection area to Ashby St Mary for unwanted CDs, CDRs, DVDs and their plastic casings. SNDC has a recycling scheme for these items where the distinctive blue and orange boxes can be accessed during normal opening hours.
